I went back to the vase and I turned that delicate beauty into what I was feeling - jagged, torn apart, full of sharp edges and cracked bits, anything but soft and beautiful. I had never done that with my ceramics before. It took what was inside and forced it out. I’m a bit hesitant to part with it, but I know that this ragged yet stunning piece will resonate with someone.
